Experience and Expertise
Kenny works with clients ranging from 12-adult and also specializes working with student athletes in high school and college. He has worked in a variety of mental health roles ranging from partial hospitalization, community based mental health and as an associate in a group private practice. Kenny has received additional training in sports performance, trauma, integrated health and anxiety. He has also trained at the Beck Institute for additional training on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. He has experience working with ages twelve to adult with a variety of mental health concerns.
Kenny has worked as a individual counselor, group facilitator and has done teaching and speaking engagements. He enjoys incorporating a variety of his client's interests into session to help develop healthy growth and build on their strengths.
Approach
Kenny uses a variety of approaches in session. He has been trained in several styles of psychotherapy such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology and is trauma informed. Kenny uses an individualized approach and don't be surprised if he sprinkles in humor and uses pop-culture references in his sessions!
